Peppercorns come from a vine, native to Asia. Pink and green peppercorns are the unripe berries. Black are the sun-ripened green berries and White have the outer skin removed – giving a mild taste. Add whole or ground to most savoury dishes, sauces, dressings, marinades or pickles.
